• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate information during registration

You agree not to share your account with others.

WritersKeep is a cloud-based platform that assists writers and authors with:

• Worldbuilding
• Character management
• Location management
• Species and organization tracking
• Relationship mapping
• Timeline management
• Manuscript creation and storage
• Related writing and storytelling tools

We may modify, improve, or discontinue features at any time.

You retain all ownership rights to content you create, upload, store, or submit through WritersKeep, including:

• Manuscripts
• Story notes
• Character information
• Images
• Worldbuilding content
• Timelines
• Relationships
• Other creative works

We do not claim ownership of your content.

To provide the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

• Store your content
• Process your content
• Display your content to you
• Back up your content
• Transmit your content as necessary to operate the Service

This license exists solely for operating and improving the Service.

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law
• Upload malicious software
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Interfere with operation of the Service
• Use the Service to distribute spam
• Infringe intellectual property rights of others
• Upload content you do not have permission to use

The Service, including its software, branding, design, and functionality, is owned by Proto North and protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service.

If you believe content on WritersKeep infringes your copyright, contact legal@writerskeep.io.

Include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the allegedly infringing content
• Your contact information
• A statement made in good faith that the use is unauthorized

We may remove allegedly infringing material while investigating.

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

Subscription fees, billing intervals, and plan details will be presented before purchase.

Payments are processed by Paddle or other authorized payment providers.

You agree to comply with any applicable payment provider terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically generate refunds except where required by law or our Refund Policy.

We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect and back up user data. However:

• No service is guaranteed to be error-free
• No storage system is completely secure
• We do not guarantee permanent preservation of content

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important work.

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance
• Technical failures
• Third-party outages
• Circumstances beyond our control

WritersKeep may introduce AI-powered features in the future.

Additional terms may apply to those features when introduced.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROTO NORTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• LOSS OF PROFITS
• LOSS OF DATA
• LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
• INDIRECT DAMAGES
• INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
• CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada and the applicable federal laws of Canada.

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
